rudedog--- I hope a large percentage of that time ep and em spent with the board was explaining their severence. The strangest part of all the AV discussion no one has brought up is if they were to spin it off it would command a higher price than CPQ PRIOR to the opening tomorrow,,, seems like they want to wait until the inut bubble bursts to put it out,,, or maybe they just burst the bubble Fri---

Rude- If She-x is right, then the BOD really should can Pfeiffer and Mason immediately, given that they were not going to say anything until earnings..that would have meant even more lawsuits, and further validity to all "head up the a## theorists" and general gross incompetence claims...

Inexcusable, given the past year.

My point about she-x: She may, indeed, be someone at Compaq with access to information and an intelligent poster at that, but the fact is also that she was fairly confident that Compaq had made the quarter (due to a blockbuster March)...and she was way off..

After that call, how can anyone have full (any) confidence on her (supposedly superior) information?

Looks like you are better off using other sources. JIMHO.
