So let me see if I can understand what is going on. CPQ is going to make a giant sucking sound as it goes down the drain on Monday. $20-more drop(according to the analyst on Bloomberg). This is Isolated just to CPQ and has no relevance to dell at all. Dell is going to make boxes for Ibm and we are not sure if this is a good thing for DELL(is this just a rumor?). Mike Dell Has been selling tons of shares and is saying There is no slowdown in computer sales and everything is A O.K.!! Dell is making 14 MLN a Day on their website and we are not sure if they can still make their numbers. Dell was trading at 40 1/8 in after hours trading on Friday. The market ignores the war in the Balkans And the crap in Iraq. But CPQ is going to drag down DELL INTEL and AOL and the whole Market on Monday. I am incredibly long on DELL and may sell off on other stocks so I don't get a margin call. I may Sell my dell and keep the Others I may just ride it out. DEll is unaffected because It is the cause of CPQ's demise and is the biggest money maker in the pc industry. Maybe I could short CPQ to cover my losses on DeLL. I Enjoy this thread Even if I can not comprehend all the different conflicting info I can Gleam from it. Well I have taken losses before. maybe I will just sell everything and start over. Sorry for rambling!! I will go to bed now. This might make sense in the morning.
