Rod, Re << I believed AMD's brilliant marketing team really out did themselves when they came up with the name K6 but the K7 proved me wrong. Where did they find the genius who came up with this latest name?>>

I bet K6 or K7 sounds a whole lot better than "Celeron", so I ask you, where did they(Intel) find the genius who came up with this latest name?

Re <<It wouldn't surprise me to discover that Intel secretly helped AMD when it looked to be in danger of imploding under its own incompetence.>>

?!?!?!?! What ever! Even the die hard Intel supporters won't agree with this none sense.

Re <<AMD is simply a clone maker of last years throw-away technology>>

Nope, that practice ended with K6. You need to get up to date. What exactly does the K7 clone? I understand it has some similarity to the Alpha but it is not a clone and by no means a "throw-away" technology.

Rod, your post lowers the quality standards of this board to a new low! A tough task indeed.
