I just heard that Richard Holbrooke mentioned in Vienna that a possible solution includes the division of Kosovo. I assume that's what Albright and the gang may be talking about this week in Oslo and Brussels ? I wonder how they could claim that all diplomatic efforts failed if they didn't table this idea earlier?

Also I hear (Russian press) that France's foreign minister is also stating that a re-thinking must happen considering that little progress has been made in 19 days of bombing. This re-thinking must include the UN and Russia.

Bill, the argument against whether we are justified or not is going on the "Kosovo" thread. I could respond to you with some arguments against why I think our involvement is only causing more trouble but I'm trying to keep my posts on this thread limited to solutions.

Cheers
James
