So, does anyone think that Compaq not being able to sell more boxes, and not being able to compete with Dell, is enough to derail the tech sector? Compaq has a history of problems in hitting their numbers, and running an efficient operation, not to mention their questionable acquisition of DEC. In either case, their problems have little relevance to AOL, except that the market acts irrationally. So I suspect there might be some buying opportunities for AOL and most tech stocks tomorrow and for the next week. A lot depends on whether Intel and other techs hit their numbers.

JMHO, I don't own CPQ or INTC
