[ CIEN/Sprint/LU ] It seems Ciena is upset that Sprint is willing to wait for the Lucent product. Monday, April 12, 1999; Page F32 ....Another warning of slowing sales knocked down shares of Ciena Corp. that had clawing their way back from a long slump. Pressed by the SEC to reveal more details of its relations with its biggest customer, Sprint Corp., Ciena reported it expects Sprint to slow its purchases of Ciena equipment, which increases the capacity of phone lines. search.washingtonpost.com
