INTC is taking a bath. Wonder if it is CPQ, a bad report coming, or both.

Q has got some support, obviously. The anti'Q posters keep pounding the Chinese situation, which is a short-term worry. When I originally talked about Q on this thread, I brought up as a hurdle, that could really make the price volatile, the whole Asian situation. You are dealing with thugs in a lot of those countries.

The question of where Q will make its money is very open. We are dealing with an open, proprietary, system that Q gets royalties on. The other companies could make a better phone than Q, and sell it cheaper, but they would still have to pay a royalty. Should Q get out of the mfg. business, and just collect royalties, make the guts only, or continue to make the phones? This must be a subject of intense debate within the company.
