Hi Robert,

I have held BRCM for a while now and my shares have done nothing

It depends how you define "a while". An example, if you bought BRCM at the beginning of the year, at the 12/31 COB price, you're gain would be over 21%. IMO, that's not to shabby.

I guess it depends on your investment plan and the circumstances you are in right now. Personally, I'm not a trader nor a timer. I'm buy and hold and have held BRCM since the beginning. To say the least, I've done well. IMO, BRCM will have brighter days.

Regardless, I hope everything goes well with you.

Regards,
Pat

Robert,
I dumped my little BRCM holdings. Took the profit. Added it all to my QCOM at 147.75. QCOM closed at 160 7/8. I will be holding Qcom till end of year.

ATHM is on fire.

Robert,

Whats your time horizon? This is my problem with the market today, people buying and expecting a double within the month. Why did you buy it Robert? Did you look at the company, the market, the management or the technology? If you did, you would have no problem with your patience or holding your BRCM shares.

Of course, this is just my opinion.
