Wi-LAN has been in the wireless Internet access for the past few years and has recently scored a number of significant contracts with Telia (the main telephone company in Sweden) for seven European countries, with Tele2 (UK) for the United Kingdom and with RSL.Com Canada for Canada. The combined value of these contracts could be in excess of $200M (USD) over the next five years. Wi-LAN has technology that is 30Mbps compared to the 2Mbps currently on the market.
