... SNIP ... NEC is bundling 3dfx's new Voodoo 3 ....in France and UK this month...

This release really made me focus on one question. I know how strong V2 / Banshee was in the US vs TNT, but how strong is it in Europe? Looks pretty strong to me. I remember reading a Brittish computer mag and feeling an overwhelming pro-3dfx sentiment. Anyone have an insight to European/Asian demand? (I mean heck, 3dfx did open up an office over there)

Marc,

Sorry, I thought that you were joking back at me when I saw the ASCII picture format of your post to me. I use <grin> to indicate that I'm smiling when I type a line in a response. Since you cannot hear my voice or see my facial expressions or read my body language, I use it to say I'm not that serious or I'm poking a little fun.

You asked me why no comment on the rise (did I first post in this thread July of last year or something). Anyways, I think you expected me to be posting a gloating e-mail about the rise or something about how I broke even since the stock was finally back to where I bought it first. I replied with worries and questions, not great joy, and asked you if it was the type of answer you were expecting (with the <grin> to indicate that I was joking so you wouldn't take offense to the exact words I was using).

In case you're wondering, I barely bought anything around when I first started posting. I'm doing well enough on the shares I bought much afterwards. I'm not focussed on the rise, though, I'm more eager about the future. I wouldn't buy a stock like this unless I thought it had a good chance to greatly increase. A decent size OEM or two would be a good confirmation of my expectations for the stock.
