Evidence for K6-2 speedpath problem really being fixed. 1. AMD ships as many chips in March as Jan and Feb combined. 2. Major drop in price of K6-2-400s near the end of March. 3. Introduction of 450 MHz K6-2. 4. Introduction of 475 MHz K6-2. 5. Reports that K6-2s are much easier to overclock to higher clockspeeds. 6. Kryotechs 600 MHz machine based on K6-2-475 in volume production. Previous high was 500MHz (cooled). --- I,m curious to know if the new 450s and 475s really need 2.4v. This is counter evidence that those speed are totally fixed. Jim
