well..I just ran into an acquaintance I trust who has served in three wars..he spent 14 months in Yugoslavia..you would have been smiling with his comments..one of his first comments was that all those doves from the sixties who were draft dodgers have now become hawks he also said that US had nothing to gain from Albania as it is so Italian.. he thinks we have totally messed up..he mentioned that there was before an underground movement to get rid of MS internally but the US neglected it..he seemed to say we have no foreign policy and have no idea of what we are doing.. he said the media has been totally distorting things.. he said maybe arm the ethnic albanians.. he agreed with me that there is something about that land..he also thought that sending in ground troups wouldn't work because of the terrain.. I felt you smiling behind my back saying tell it to her :-(
