With Liam Neeson? No, I missed it...There was a great version, not of the book, but based on the general story line, from France a couple of years ago, I believe with Yves Montand. A lot of it takes place during World War Two, and there is a splendid scene of a Normandy landing... Although I liked "Saving Private Ryan", I felt a bit let down after the build up. Just as with "Schindler's List", people acted as if Speilberg had invented the movie depictions of these events...
