I was a bit let down by Private Ryan myself, after the first 15 minutes the story bogs a bit. But I must grudgingly admit I stifled tears. The whole theater was crying. A vet in front of us, with his VFW hat on and all, was almost doubled up in his seat. It was moving to say the least. I told my father, a Vietnam vet, to go see it. Next time I saw him I asked if he went to see it, he almost cried on the spot.

I was very disappointed in Schindlers List. A very good movie, dont get me wrong. But it tended to get a bit theatrical at the end.

Did you see the English Patient? Excellent movie! I took a date to see it, and afterwards she said she would have rather went to see the Howard Stern movie. I never called her again... :)
