Your right John, when you look beneath the surface it becomes obvious that some important facts/history behind the issue are being so conveniently overlooked by our media.

Seems like they didnt learn a thing about tolerance from it all either John, NONE OF THEM, Croat, Serb, Albanian, although they all seem to have learned a thing or two about brutality. And the US did plenty in Bosnia John. The difference is that there was a settlement on Bosnia. For almost a decade the US, including the UN, has been trying to get Milo to back off. When do we admit that talking isnt doing the job, and start twisting some arms? Its all very strange to me why this would have been perfectly acceptable if it was mandated by the UN, and of course carried out by the US, as always. But when the US and NATO undertake such an action within the bounds of its charter, its murder and terrorism. It is all very strange indeed. Some people would rather just sit on their hands and look the other way.

John, the powers that be have an interest in portraying the Yugoslav conflict in simple black/white good vs. evil terms, rather than as a messy civil war with a messy history...and plenty of villains on all "sides". It makes it much easier to whip up hate for the enemy and patriotic fervor.

NATO is implicitly fighting on the side of the KLA - a "terrorist" organization according to the US government. Funny thing is that news reports rarely mention the KLA.
