Bought into NKCIF yesterday. I am a long time THQI stockholder, and thought I would take a flyer on this one, despite the horrible financials and checkered history.. THQ came back from the dead as a video game company by concentrating on a niche - gameboy and old platforms, that the bigger boys had given up on. I see NKCIF doing something similar.

For a long time I have wondered why no one was doing "edutainment" titles for the Playstation and N64. Seems a natural to me, and I suggested it many times to the THQI CEO. Maybe sales would not be high enough for them. Whatever, I think it is a good niche. Am I right in thinking that NKCIF is the only company doing edutainment titles for the platforms? Since software for the 3 to 6 age group is probably picked out by parents, and parents would be more likely than kids to buy a software with some "education" benefit, I think this might work.

Regarding the profit prediction by the company for Q1, I loved that. As I figure it, they are predicting about .08 US per share. If they maintained this for 4 Q, they would earn .32 US for the year, giving them a foreward PE of around 5. If Q2 and Q3 earnings show growth over Q1, then we will have a winner here. But I agree this one needs some time to prove itself before most investors will jump onboard.

Sorry Jim...
I just noticed that it was "E" that quoted me. Therefore, my reply goes to "E". BTW, have you noticed that NewKidCo's products seem to be visible on store shelves everywhere you look? I have.
