Whys1: "as Pfeiffer then segued into his prepared remarks"

How do you segue? Or maybe I should address this question to Elwood, the head of the grammar and syntax department.

In the UK the new COMPAQ campaign is emphasising COMPAQ as high-end hardward. The other day listening to my car radio in Liverppool, the COMPAQ ad came on using a broad Lancashire accent. It said something to the effect that when any of 106 stock markets stop working its bad news for managers, because COMPAQ provides the nonstop computers and managers can't blame the computers. But is good news for managers of the other 6 stock exchanges which COMPAQ does not service. I have'nt got it quite right - it was quirky and unusual but quite good.
