Strange thing happened today:

Typed a PM to someone and hit send and it posted on this thread that I've never seen before! To a person I've never heard of!! I quickly edited it to blank, but still got a response!!! <G>

I tried sending it again as a PM but this time noticed when I hit "submit", before actually sending it, that it was addressed to that thread again.

To solve the problem, I went to the person's profile that I was trying to PM, and hit "send private message", rather than reply to his PM which was how I got cross-connected to the strange thread (a penny stock -- I don't even play pennies).

Wonder if it's my browser acting up again. Maybe I'll do a fresh install of 98.

I am using IE 4.0, I merely changed from 20 pages of history to 7, and cleared the history files. I did nothing else, as I was afraid of creating more problems . I worded it all wrong in the previous post, sorry about that. I am still having sporadic service from my isp, so only have part time access to si.
