>>Do you have all the latest patches from the Windows Update page installed. If not, do this first...<<

I've gone to the Windows Update from the settings menu. Microsoft goes through the "we'll check your system and tell you what needs to be updated" routine and comes up empty.

At Jeff's suggestion I did tried doing a find on my HD and DDEML.DLL shows up in two directories.

Jeff also suggested that I right click on the icon and click on properties. The results were interesting: (I also checked DCIMAN.DLL since I'm getting an error message on that one too.)

In C:\Windows\System:
DDEML.DLL Date Created (Unknown) Date Modified 01/01/97
DCIMAN.DLL Date Created 04/11/99 Date Modified 01/01/97

In C:\Windows\Sysbckup
DDEML.DLL Date Created 12/31/79 Date Modified 01/01/97
DCIMAN.DLL Date Created 12/31/99 Date Modified 01/01/97

Any problem with copying the files from C:\Windows\Sysbckup to
C:\Windows\System?

Just for grins I'd still like to know how to extract the files from the CD.

Regards - Emory
