Emory,

You can find Shareware (cnet.com, tucows.com...) programs that allow you to view into and extract from ".cab" files, The MS distribution standard (basically a ZIP file).

Try a "cab file" search at one of these sites.

Emory,

I just ran into the same problem???? if you have a 80486 processor you can't upgrade to win 98????????????? I ran into the problem w/ a AMD P166(couldn't have been?)..or maybe be it was an NexGenP90 that would answer alot????.w/ win95...why the upgrade thought it was a 80486 processor I don't know...I'm actually shocked. but that is the problem...since I tried to upgrade a neighbors system (never opened the box...thought that's what it was??)I'm now getting the DDEML.DLL error. And I wasn't able to upgrade for this reason??????????? I believe I now have to re-install win95 to remove the error...since it now appears on start-up...I see your frustration...
