Stats of the Day -Five stocks accounted for half of the performance of the S&P 500 in the first quarter, and 18 stocks accounted for 100% of the performance. -The No. 1 contributing stock in the index was MSFT, which now constitutes over 4% of the weight of the index. MSFT was up 29% in the first quarter and alone accounted for 20% of the index's performance.
