The tidbits of information that are coming out are suggestive of a speed problem, or some such thing.

A 500 MHz K7 in June would not be a disaster by any stretch of the imagination.

Actually, the 0.25 micron K7 will only be worth some bragging rights. Like I said before, the real money can't come until the Dresden fab ramps up, meaning that Dresden will be Sanders' Last Stand. If one or two more production problems hamper Dresden, AMD will miss the window of opportunity between Coppermine and Willamette.
