Welcome to the WAVX Board George. After all this time an SI member, why now?

Has half a decade changed any of your views presented in Life After Television?

Cheers,

Tony

If My Innocuous Posts (Even Indirectly) Bring GG To This Thread...

Then perhaps I should post more often <gg>. Thanks for the book reference. I will buy it this morning.

Here's looking forward to the day when Web-fed micro-royalties register in real-time on your account, allowing you to log on, say, from Bermuda or Bruges. Not that you'd be checking, mind you.

Best Regards,

c m

George,

You have lots of fans on this extraordinary thread. Have you by chance read David Foster Wallace's "E Unibus Pluram: Television and U.S. Fiction?" His vision, both forward and backward, explains why Americans have been so completely sucked into the vacuum of the cathode ray tube. Great to see you here.
