Your situation is absolutely typical. It almost sounds like you work for my current client -- the situation here is almost identical.

I believe all enterprise software sales, including those from the "untouchable" companies like MSFT, are going to be slow for the next 6 months or so. Even though I hold stock in five enterprise software companies (PSFT, CPWR, ITWO, MANU, PLAT), I am not selling because they are all undervalued (except possibly ITWO) from a long-term perspective (short term for PLAT.)

I am actually hoping that these stocks continue to drop! My plan is to accumulate cash for the next six months and try to pick up a lot of very cheap stocks between October and December. If things go as I hope, I can probably get some 5 to 10 baggers by 2002.
