As I mentioned to Scott, the Mini does tend to dance around a lot.

I was told by my desk that a fellow client uses fixed prices for entries and exits on the Mini and almost always gets his price.

When I asked if that was so with the spoo they just laughed at me.

So when I trade the Mini I usually don't do Market, but on the spoo I don't think I would ever use a Stop Limit. Then again, I day trade so by the time my Stop got reported to me I very often am back in at a better price. Taking today, I entered at 55.50, stopped at 53.50 nd before I got the Fill I was long again at 52

A position trader can afford to wait I suppose. Of course, there is always the outside chance that a fast market, as Doug said, will leave your portfolio scarred.
