I see this as an extremely favorable report. Apple is kicking ass. Once again the company has confounded the analysts and beaten estimates handily.

Next step is announcements from Apple regarding QT4, Consumer portable, and OS info at the World Wide Developers Conference. This earnings release is the first of several releases in the coming month that will kick this stock into high gear.

Where do we go from here ???
Nowhere to go but DOWN !
This is the last gasp.
Apple/Macs are dead meat.
Long live Bill Gates.
Long live WINTEL !!!

Now that we have the BULL____ out of the way, let's get on with getting this Co. back to where it should have been ten years ago. I have owned over a dozen different Macs since 1984, still have five of them, not counting the ones I gave away to relatives, and have had one minor failure in ten years. Put that in you WINTEL PC & smoke it !

>>Demand for iMac exceeded our most optimistic forecasts, with Apple's share of U.S. retail and mail order desktop sales climbing as high as 12.5 percent during the quarter, as reported by ZD Storeboard.<<

Doesn't 12.5% make Apple the #3 computer maker?
