dear james,
that trader at datek trying to sell intc at $61 lost only $4.00.
intc closed at $57.
now listen to this.
i placed a sell order with etrade for ntbk.
the order was placed at 9:44 a.m. at 233.
ntbk traded as high as 246 AFTER i placed my order.
etrade didn't fill my order.
guess where ntbk closed for the day.
172.
the loss here is a whopping $61.00

now what do you say to that?

etrade advises that one should not try to change orders.
that only confirmation reports are late, but orders are filled.so you are left not knowing what to do.

i tried calling etrade and talking to them.they say i don't deserve a fill even though the stock traded 13 points above my ask.they are calling it the spread that the mm makes.

i would like to see what you have to say about losing $4 vs $61.
give us your defense.
