greg...re gobi..caveat emptor.. did you go thru the order process...add a 17" monitor, and ms office 97...and you are charged an upfront adder of $650..this is a great deal!!!!

greg: is the gobi deal at all real? If it is, then I could understand an aol/dell deal in which basically aol underwrites the cost, and dell profits from its normal pricing. Please pardon me if this has been talked about.
