That being said, what happens now? How to reach an acceptable end game for all parties? The problem as it now presents itself is that Milosevich is unlikely to accept any agreement that would force him to give up what from his perspective is a desirable situation in Kosovo. It is obvious that the Serbs believe they can absorb damage inflicted by the air campaign and wait NATO out. Now that a fait accompli is achieved in Kosovo, it is unlikely that Milosevich will settle for any turning back of the clock to a pre-bombing situation. Note that all has been silent from Belgrade in regards Koffi Anan's peace plan.
