He wasn't saying that it is a European Vietnam war. He was saying that if it were to become a European Vietnam War, it would be a problem.

Since I am holding LEAPS, things are not looking as good as I would like. For those long the common and thus not concerned with a diminishing premium, the concerns are fewer.

Barry,re:"Not European Vietnam". Same difference. WAR-TAX is
100's-1000's of Billions. Money is still there, just move to
where the mouth/living is: (food, building...) vs. non-essentials
like 'high-end CPUs/PCs', virtual/CYBER-space profit, at least in
the immediate 3-6 months, which incidentially a 'pause' for the
high-tech.

Don't buy Gillete either, NOBODY shaves in Europe(not with America's
razor at least) until the war is over, even then, they are so used
to it, not shaving actually become patriotism or fashion. I think G
and high-tech are down the toilet for the next 6 months.

Barry,

I'm old enough to remember it. Have you ever spent much time in Russia?

There are five Laws of European Continental Politics:-

1. Never get involved in the Balkans.

2. If you get involved in the Balkans you will lose.

3. If you want to start a World War then start a small war in the Balkans.

4. Any war in the Balkans will end up with more bloodshed than you could have previously imagined.

5. Whatever you do, do not attempt to fight the Serbs.

The reason for latter is that the Serbs are the tough cousins of the Russians. They are the ONLY people to have given not only the Germans but the SS a run for their money and were never really conquered throught WWll despite our new allies, the Germans, having at the time put in about four SS divsions plus the assistance of the local Croats and Bosnians who were busily engaged in butchering Serbs on their own account as well as on behalf of the Germans.

Best regards,

L
