Our iCEO makes the difference to us but the Street craves stability Hopefully AAPL can retire the notes with a buy back deal making room for the 17 mln 1998 "Executive option" shares (and other compensation) to be awarded . These shares are probably for Mr J but adds a contractual term of employment . When AAPL settles this issue you will see this stock zoom . Jim K.

To all. Finished listening to the cc a couple of times. Very good. I'd strongly recommend it. Lots of tidbits not covered. One interesting moment was Lou trying to talk the stock up in front of other analysts by pointing out, although he knew Fred would decline to answer, that the QT4 feature set overlay Real Networks and given Real Networks value what was Apple considering to bring that value out in its own company. Another interesting moment - a question was asked regarding Apples plans for bundling ISPs with new products, etc. but it wasn't asked very well. Fred misunderstood and commented that their "internet strategy - portal site" was still under development and was very important to the company but other than that he had no comment. Fred is very, very good. Doesn't spin at all, very straight forward. Hope I'm not holding if he ever decides to leave. Rich Edit - whoops didn't see Mark's post regarding portal site.
