<<Another interesting moment - a question was asked regarding Apples plans for bundling ISPs with new products, etc.>>

That is interesting. Is this referring to the now common practice of getting ISPs to pay up for bundling, ala eMachines? I assume Apple gets something nice from Earthlink for the iMac but it could be nicer.

<<One interesting moment was Lou trying to talk the stock up in front of other analysts by pointing out, although he knew Fred would decline to answer, that the QT4 feature set overlay Real Networks and given Real Networks value what was Apple considering to bring that value out in its own company.>>

The nice thing about Lou is that he keeps estimates low, usually lower than consensus I believe. Anyway, it seems like a legit question and perhaps timely with NAB coming. Btw, I believe we talked about this with Lou back in January at Eric's MacWorld meeting. We had hoped to see QT 4 and myapple.com in January--looks like it will happen, just a quarter or two late. Kind of funny that Fred slips and mentions the portal when the question is simply about a ISP kickback.

With all the hipness of the MP3 at the moment, do you think AAPL would go up $3 if they announced an Apple-branded player?

Marc

I didn't understand all this. For those of us not so much in the know, could you elaborate?

34 3/8. Perhaps bottom? Rotation and options expiration, presumably.

No satisfaction probably until Monday afternoon or Tuesday.

I despise the pig, CPQ.
