1) I had always said that there would be multiple standards
2) The Qualcomm position was one which was unatainable/unreal (but then the stance was only a bargaining chip)

As for the paltry sum, what realistically did people expect? I am amazed at the self gratification here, others tried to put forward alternative views but by and large they were treated with derision. It remains to be seen about the royalties, that will come out over time, but as I had stated before and will now again...Ericsson were in a far stronger position than everyone here gave them credit for.

My business is to see what is happening in the telecom market, yes I own stock, but not much. The financial aspects are immaterial to me (although I wish I was wealthier and therefore had Q stock!!!), as I am only industry oriented - This is one reason why I have made my views of financial analysts in the telecom sector...they don't know much about the business. I had previously said that I am in the wrong business, maybe I should work as an industry advisor to the financial market...it pays a hellava lot more!!

All the best,
Mika
