It's also still an open question as to how different those standards will be, what NTT in particular will do.

As for royalties, I believe Q said that 3G royalties will not be substantially different than they are today..

Mika,

I have to admit that I was a tad shocked to hear what the Q received from Ericy. I am glad it is all over, but the price was a lot lower than I expected. Ericy made out like a bandit, but I guess that fits their MO!!

The apparent low cash price for the infra division does not surprise me at all. If you checked my posts shortly after March 25, I warned that the charge would be a lot greater than most seemed to be expecting and to anticipate a retreat after clarity on April 20. What me worry?

Mika:

....but as I had stated before and will now again...Ericsson were in a far stronger position than everyone here gave them credit for.

Pray tell, what did ERICY get?

Also, you never answered--do you get any compensation from ERICY?
