I know of one other so you're not alone.

If is wasn't for #11 WL 4/14, I'd be off more. It even sold off yesterday but has rebounded some today.

"Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, or you'll get hit with a brick" is pretty profound right now. <G>

As so it goes,

In trying to assess what went wrong here with some of our trades, it seems that we are all asking should I .... buy here, sell at this point, average down, etc.

If we don't lay out and follow a plan then find ourselves trading on emotion. I read some very good advice somewhere to help control fear and greed--our two worst enemies. When you're not certain about a trade, but are questioning which way to go always ask yourself "Will this preserve my capital?"

If it doesn't preserve your capital, don't do it. Selling when you're up will preserve your capital. Buying when you're down will not preserve your capital.

Wish I had followed that advise. Just a thought. I hope that this little piece of advice might help in the future.

I feel like throwing up. I did..... Just kidding.
I let my 50% gain on NETG go to 0% duh!!! And I KNEW I should have at least sold half. Lessons to be learned... What really pisses me off is my EMC getting trashed. Earnings are out next week and this MAY be an opportunity to get in. I'm holding and wish I had some of that NETG profit cash to get more......

As the old saying goes.... "Bulls and Bears get fat, Pigs get slaughtered".

Pick a proven discipline (e.g, my strategy is to buy super cheap companies etc., with proven upside growth and product cycles etc) for trading/investing and stick with it. Otherwise, jumping in and out on rumors/momentum can be a painful lesson if you don't have the experience. Jenna is making very strategic calls (picks, entry levels, sells). If you've enrolled in her site, you should be a U.S. grade Bull that wins in no time. Good luck! GO!

Aya, I lost about 25% of my paper net worth yesterday, and another 10% today because Datek's @#&* servers would'nt let me log on until almost 8:00AM Pacific time. I'm holding too...no other choice. Good luck, and may the Bulls get horny!
