Something's cooking here! Of course CDNW was already beaten down but someone's buying bigtime on a down-down day when all the other nets are weak. I read Time Warner's CEO denied needing to takeover any net companies. Why the denial in public? To keep the price low? Last time I heard such a denial was my first stock buy ten years ago when Ted Turner declared publicly he had no interest in buying MGM. My lawyers represented MGM and were busy all day. I bought and it went up 80% the next day. Turner did buy. Hmmm. CDNW being taken over? I'm tempted to clear some cash but I'm not selling.

Somebody is going to want all those CDNow site hits for their own. It's still ranked 3 or 4 on Hot100.com listing of shopping sites.
Music is and will always be hot - if CDNW can't make money doing it - someone will buy their customer base and try to do it themselves.

Either way this stock will eventually have it's run. Maybe now.
