Earnings report is out. biz.yahoo.com Revenue for the quarter was $67.8 million, a 15 percent increase over revenue of $59.0 million for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 1998, and a 69 percent increase over revenue of $40.2 million in the comparable period a year ago. Gross merchandise sales for the quarter were $73.3 million, an 18 percent increase compared to $62.3 million in the fourth quarter of 1998, and a 46 percent increase compared to $50.3 million in the first quarter of 1998. Net loss for the quarter was $5.5 million, or $0.28 per share on 19.4 million weighted average shares outstanding (both basic and diluted). This compares to a net loss of $3.1 million, or $0.16 per share on 19.2 million weighted average shares outstanding (both basic and diluted) in the previous quarter, and a net loss of $4.2 million or $0.22 per share on 18.7 million weighted average shares outstanding (both basic and diluted) in the comparable period a year ago.
