some chart stuff

seek lost a trendline dating back to early oct, will be interesting to see if it can be recovered

nsol has been getting pounded on competitive expectations in the future, today it appears to have bounced off a trendline, will be interesting to see if it continues from here or will lose that line.

sfe pulled all the way back to its flag breakout today before it looks like it bounced, wow

cnet hit a low of 107 before rebounding to 127, i have an acceleration in the 103 area that obviously held, of interest on the indicators would be the possibility of an h and s in the 13 rsi, macd divergence, as well as an obv divergence, all negative, to name a few.

onhn testing an acceleration, next stop on a failure here could be 12.50 as next trendline. there's an indicator coil in effect that many times precedes a news release as it tightens and would require some strength off the acceleration trendline to remain intact, this one stays on the watch

prtl is day 3 of a quasi paste, while retesting its bo, positive activity would be for it to reset while holding above today's low for the next few days as the positioning of some indicators would seem to require. its got some nice upside before its next resistance level, lets hope this one behaves the way it otta for the trick. based on recent volume and the news release on the 13th, i'm pretty sure kaufman got in on the 9th, lol.

espi volume is textbook stuff.

bvsn tested trendline today

dclk tested acceleration today

may get to more inuts to see how many are in this situation , but its interesting to see that the mkt move back up today looks to have coincided with the activity of most of these trendline supports. my guess is, there's a ton more of these out there. its gonna be interesting to say the least the next few days.

Market magnets 4.19.99

notes:

Dow: Weekly buy rating. Mids 2/3 up, 1/3 down all in "overbought"
areas. Short term techs look to have reset and a turn up monday is
likely to signal a strong week. 3 day RSI near paste area.

Nasdaq: Weekly buy rating. Mids all down. Short term techs
pointing down in "oversold" area. Lack of bounce Friday is another
warning shot. 2578 is the key tline. 2402 dtrend is most recent mag
tline and it should hold the first time its tested if the weakness
continues.

SP500: Mids all down. Weekly buy rating. Short term pointing down
in "oversold" area. 1253 is 85 line utrend. Needs to regain footing
soon, as in by Monday close. 1339 is key mag tline which needs to
be recaptured.

Nas 100: Mids all down. Weekly buy rating. 2145 utrend acted as
resistance Friday. Warning shot!

R2K: Weekly buy confirmed. Base spoken of last week appears to be
ending and a break to the upside appears to be in the cards. I like
the R2K to be the leading index this week.

Overall: Very mixed again. Nasdaq, SP500 both appear ready to
breakdown. Dow and R2K appear ready to move up strong. Weekly buys
on all but they are a long term indicator which has some lag. So,
what to do? I like long trading positions here. I will not enter
any longer term trades/holds here.
