The discount brokerage situation HAS NOT been good for me during the past few months. Frankly, it has not been volume related until recently. I have had some "conversations" with the top techie people of the brokerage I deal with in Toronto. What bugs me is that the Banks (brokerages) are marketing to the masses and encouraging trading but are not moving quick enough to meet the demands in terms of hardware and perhaps software. It HAS cost me. Today's Globe & Mail Report on Business had an article about the abhorrent situation. Cheers! (even though I am venting!) Chris
