That's excellent DD, Kathy, much better than the BUY THIS post I just dealt with from someone else.

PTEK - good news is price/sales at 1.5 and the Internet angle plus a technology which seems very relevant.

The question is, can they make any money doing this? I wouldn't put too much value in small IPO holdings with a company doing $445 million in revenue already. You need to dig into their financials, look at the margins and decide if they can turn a profit sometime down the line. Current analysts don't show a profit this year or next and no one rates PTEK a strong buy. They also have long term debt and less cash on hand than their trailing 12-month loss.

I wouldn't buy into this one myself. But I don't see any huge holes - just a lot of question marks.

Would you like to do me a favor? Put LWIN through that same analysis and see what you come up with. This in an Anthony pick, which always draws a lot of "get on the bandwagon" players. The company may be too new to decide if it's worth $22 a share. last night's news on their new wireless licenses should move it further today.

Here is LWIN's latest 10-K - this is a pure potential play. I don't know the industry well enough to begin assigning a valuation to LWIN.

CMGI - here's a great post recapping the CMGI CEO's presentation to a recent conference. CMGI has so many dimensions, you almost can't go wrong buying the dips. I am still happily holding a few shares left from my 120 purchase. Long term hold.
