Thanx Douglas; for an informative post, and some of what you said confirms some reports I have been getting directly from Germany, however I do not have the permission to revel the source. I will say not all German people support what has happened, and some of them in writing me have put themself and families at risk, so I don't even keep records as to who they are, the letters that I do save I edit out their names and change the wording. ( I'm trained to forget some things as weird as that may sound) as I'v also traveled in circles were remembering names is not always a wise thing and believe it or not you can develop a style that tends to let you forget names ) But I'm damm good with faces and not all black people look alike to me. <G> Forgetting names is a handicap in a lot of ways but then if one went down some of the trails I had to go down they would understand how and why that trait can develop. So far I have not gone with making much of it public other than some feelers in looking for a way to validate what I was being told, to some extent you just did that, I now have to re-read some notes and stuff before I say any more. I know that a lot of what is going on in the Balkans is still over my head, but I think I have a much clearer picture than the average Joe. One thing about this thread most of the posters do care, and that's more than can be said for the general public. All the polls the News boys are taking are meaningless, as they are polling a lot of people who will change their minds in a heart beat , and who never get involved anyway. So they say the public feels this way or that way, hell the majority of the public is more concerned about their second mortgage than in who is President , and all you have to do to validate that is check on how few of them even vote.
