: : : : :IMPORTANT: : : : : Today DLJ [remember DLJDirect?] . . "UPGRADES" Amazon. Bet they got it at a steal yesterday morning. Expect the E-commerce stocks to heat up today, especially similar stocks like BAMM, BKS, CDNW, etc. But keep an eye on all E-commerce today. . .also E-commerce related, like OMKT, etc. If anyone here fell for the Wall Street April Swindle . . .and bought into the cyclicals. . .you may be there holding those shares for a long long time. The big money was out at yesterday's highs. Don't be a hero. IMPORTANT: : : New strategy. . . when the high-fliers show this much volatility ever again. . .we take a different posturing IMMEDIATELY. . .we go on the OFFENSIVE. . .NOT THE DEFENSIVE. Instead of buy and hold. . .we shift to either of two OFFENSIVE startegies.. . .FIRST. . . those with successful daytrading records and direct order execution will daytrade the high-fliers. . .selling every big peak and buying every big dip. Sell the gaps every morning and buy the panic each day. SECOND. . .for those that are not set up for daytrading, we set "good til cancelled" limit orders the NIGHT BEFORE. Don't even bother with "day orders" . .you may not reach your broker for several days. We place limit sells like land mines at various levels above, so that when she gaps up and runs up for a few minutes and we are sitting their with our "dumb" terminals and our "idiot" hold messages. . . our sells are executing. And in the same manner, we set limit buys at ridiculous prices, good til cancelled. And we just sit back and watch everyone panic. . in fact we encourage it, because we know where our land mines are set. This becomes a sort of day/swing trading using instruments only. Expect your broker to be unavailable and your online service to be down, anytime extraordinary market volatility hits. This is a war for our dollars. We don't hide in the bunkers. We ambush them. . .
