Brokers convey messages to clients that they have obtained from the internet. When a few houses think this is a worthwhile promotion they will start to push it....but not until some really worthy news is released.

George, I like a certain amount of Bearish sentiment. I felt very fortunate to pick up more shares this week. Why would GNE want to associate themselves with Xoma during the upcoming important Psoriasis Phase III trial? Why would they be willing to carry Xoma for their share of costs by Convert. deal? Everyone should follow their own minds after due diligence but I once again felt very fortunate to be able to buy shares this week. Only my opinions.
