DD,

No ... There is no relationship between political uncertainty and the price of gold ... It is going up because it is Spring.

Did you used to be a librarian? You sure like everything quiet and orderly.

John

DD : If you want to talk about gold, then talk.

What we don't need is a self-appointed policeman. All you have done for the past week is gripe. If you look at my posts, and John's, you will see that, between talking about the war etc, we have also discussed gold. Which you, dear friend, have not.

DD,
I might be able to draw a line for you between(this?) war & gold. I well recall, a friend two years older than I got "The Letter"(draft) while in high school. He & I went down & he bought two 45 ACP Colts and had tuned for speed & accuracy, and several older gold coins. He was not the only one to buy gold per the coin shop he bought from. Seems, many believe a gold coin or two sub for a "get out of jail free" card in some far away lands or can buy any number of other C.Y.A. non-issue items needed or wanted by soldiers.
