Donnie,
I'm not the kind to repeat rumours, so listen closely the first time! I hear that the Fidelity Magellan Fund has decided that it has a lot of profits in tech and Y2K is an unknown variable, so they are moving out of anything technical and into paper and metals until the next millenium. There are a lot of me too fund managers that are following or thinking of following. I.e. move into something that can't possibly be affected by Y2K (except maybe the born-on date on the bottom of the can). I've been told it can take up to 30 days to move that much money around.

TP - (Rumours are not guarenteed fresh after utterance)

OT to Big V --

Don't worry about all that stuff -- just think about the things that are important in your life -- I hope you have someone to love you and good friends and family to support you. Because if you don't, nothing else matters. Take a break for an hour, 15 minutes, 5 minutes today and be grateful for everything you have and try to figure out what's going to make your life a little easier. Can you delegate more? Can you get off one committee, etc.? Can you take this weekend off and relax and do something you really enjoy? Something that you've been too busy to do but really miss?

All that stress is going to make you unhealthy. Are you getting enough exercise? Eating right? (Sorry, the mom comes out in me every once in a while.) Sometimes exercise is a great stress buster -- even if you can just take a walk for 20 minutes tonight.

This market is enough to stress anyone -- take a vacation from it for a day, week or how ever long you can manage. It will still be there when you decide to come back.

You deserve the best -- don't short yourself. Things will work out with your house, etc. They always have a way of working themselves out. Just take care of yourself. You've obviously come a long way. I know how hard it is to fight an addiction. Keep up the good work.

Ciao,
Jo.

Yo VENK, it's time for a little perspective. Look at the bright side, no one is bombing you.

*O.T.*

You may already have heard this saying, but just in case you
haven't..."The best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time."

I use to be in your shoes and realized that once I started to live
by that thought (above) I realized I was placing an enormous amount of pressure on myself and not one person appreciated it. Try to move up the mountain a little bit, you're view will improve 100%.
