kp, i think you summarized very nicely. i agree with almost all your points except the Clik! one. I think it has 50% chance or even better while you give only 10% chance. I think there is market for smaller size products. Size does matter a lot here. But again i clearly differentiate from hope Vs reality. What i have is hope :-)

IOM better do something with Jaz. I am fully with you in this. This is supposed to their highest margin product and i wonder could they lose money here?? What is the point of keeping a money losing niche product. I am hoping that they will do something with this. Otherwise, they will simply stop this product line.

I am still hopeful that things are improving and we will see you on the long side after the Q2 report ;-)

Ken, you forgot to ask which OEM would be the next Zip 250 supporter.

do you think they're going to stand back and let Dell offer something they're not offering?

>>>ZIP250 is a big surprise.<<<

Isn't it though? I think Iomega now has a classic situation:

"Here's this very low priced Zip100 that you can buy. But wouldn't you really rather have this cool and fat Zip250? And it plays all your friend's old Zip 100's as well."

I think the Jaz field will either go to monstrous capacities or fade away. That class of disk needs to be able to back-up at least half a hard disk (9GB these days) or be able to stash major chunks of video to be useful in the future.
