Buy-out is a rumor but alliance (read buying part of company and backing it with deep pockets) looks like a sure thing. When Universal made its move into CD e-commerce that meant Warners and Sony would have to follow to compete. Warners needs CDNW now and vice versa. A perfect marriage. Whether they buy out or ally is in the hands of the board members. But it surelooks like CDNW's future is protected. The stock should spurt upward from here on whatever the exact news turns out to be.
