Hello Gemsearcher et al, Sorry for the downtime, I've been away for a bit. Quick responses only today, on Canada's national day of mourning (for our loss of Gretzky). Most of the comments on the Camafuca deal have been pretty good, IMHO. Simply the largest daimondiferous Kimberlite on the planet, with over 200 drill holes w/data courtesy of de Beers, plus all data gathered in last couple years. Angola is problematic, but Camafuca is well situated, and close to its partner's strongholds. This was a calculated risk, but I believe that SUF knows a lot more than has been disclosed. And it may be quite some time before we hear more news about Camafuca. Now that SUF has its 51% interest completely vested (there is another 14% that could come under SUF also), what benefit would the release of positive results bring? I've noticed almost no news in the past several months, and while concerned, I think that SUF has done a lot more work than has been reported. These are my thoughts only, because SUF folks are very tight-lipped about it. Since Camafuca, by most analysts reports, has little or no contribution to SUF's present NAV, confirmation of the previously released results is not material. And why turn on the flashing light and sirens to attract UNITA interest by issuing further comment? So I think SUF bides its time, quietly going about its feasibility, with its people in relative safety (refer to previous excellent posts), and one day, when the civil situation is closer to resolution, they'll release a whole raft of news, plans, skeds, etc. But who kows when? Since the market doesn't care, I can't disagree with the silence. But many folks are working at Camafuca. For those who haven't heard it yet, this is the reason I own SUF. The exploration upside, in my opinion, is huge because of the great work of the people at SUF. The earnings and cash flow are excellent ways to pay for, and increase, this potential. I'll agree that the market would love to hear news of pipes in NWT. As a SUFfering shareholder, I would also. However, while the prices of almost worthless partners has risen nicely on the hope that SUF's drilling might be successful, Vaughn was correct to draw a line between SUF and this performance. Regards, Confluence
