When the CEO says they will grow revenues by 20% and earnings by 30-35%, on a 20Billion revenue base, that is a big deal, that is growth.

When Cisco grows at 35% on 8Billion revenue, they are growing faster but the actual revenue increase is greater with Lucent, still.

Compare that with a little Xyln or mrvc, type companies that grow at 100% annually, they are doing great but they are increasing their revenues by max 10 million per quarter, great results but when the big dogs are increasing by billions per quarter, who is gonna have trouble.
