g&j - I see that yo haven't been an SI member for very long. All of these arguments have been gone through before. I strongly recommend that you do a little reading on some other SI threads to get some history on how the "bashers" and the "stock touts" operate. MTEI might be a good place to start your homework. Believe me, if these guys were short the stock, they'd just say so, there's no benefit to denying it. Shorters short because they think the stock is overvalued, bashers bash because they think the stock smells funny. Red flags all over the place on this deal.

Why are you a good person? Because you hold this stock? I like AMD, CPU and EBID right now. Why? I bought AMD & CPU at the bottom (I hope) and plan to sell them for a profit during the next month or so. I bought EBID because they are trying to cash in on the internut frenzy and I thought the new stock symbol was catchy enough to bring in a lot of trades. Now: What have you discovered about Janice, Bill & myself? That we know each other through SI? Yes, we do. We even send PMs to each other. That we are fascinated by the machinations and foolishness displayed on these threads? Yes, that is true too. It is both fascinating and amazing that people have exactly the same responses time after time in this type of thread. That we enjoy bantering with people like you and hope that you will learn from the experience? Yes, that too. There are people out there that have learned that the "bashers" tend to be correct in the long term for this type of thread and have moved from the category of "sheep" to "educated traders". If you bother to look, which I guess that you can't be bothered with since truth just gets in the way of belief, Janice & Bill are pretty near 100% correct in the long run, as is Jeff. I am getting good at spotting a questionable person or company, but I must bow to the many masters on the boards. Why do I care? (1) it is entertaining, (2) cockroaches make such a good crunch when I step on them. As to my having a cash account, it is true. I don't care if you believe me, but if you think about it, shorting pennies is not a very good way to make money in a bull market with an increasing number of sheep signing up for Ameritrade (or other online trading) accounts.
